Education is the perfect way to achieve your goals. Hence why we say a carrier in Canada will open the doors to a world full of opportunity to you. Choose one of the 40 programs where you can combine paid work with your academic studies. The work options while you study are:
Part-time work on campus (You can apply for a part-time job on campus and a work permit will not be required).
Off-Campus jobs: After 6 months of study, you can apply for permission to work off campus for a maximum of 20 hours per week during the school calendar year. Between semesters you can raise your working hours to 40 hours per week, if you fulfill certain criteria.
Periods of cooperative work education: A co-op program which is paid work-study or internship will allow you to work four months of each year of your program.
Work experience after graduation: After graduating from a 2 or 3 years program, you can request a work permit to stay in Canada for up to 3 years.

ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE (ESL)
